Your motorcycle kit has one moment to save your skin! Do you trust it?

We all know motorcycles have their safety risks, but thankfully there are some incredible brands out there dedicated to keeping us bikers safe.

Introduction

Motorcycles have a notorious reputation for their risk factor, and to be honest, that’s probably half of why I love it. The freedom, the proximity to the racing road beneath the wheels, the exposure to life’s elements, it’s all a part of the addiction. However, having had a life-changing accident back in 2014; safety is incredibly important to me. Ultimately, when you get on that bike, your kit, your clothing, helmet, gloves, boots, they only have one moment. One moment to save your skin, and possibly your life.

When an accident happens, heaven forbids, do you trust your kit? Would you look back and wish you’d worn protection, or not bought the cheapest option, or picked protection over ‘street cred’ look? It’s a scary question to ask, but it’s also a regret you or your family could face forever.

On the bright side, there’s loads of fantastic safety gear out there and here’s where I tell you about some of the kits I trust my body to.
