Graham Jarvis, the legend Extreme Enduro rider and probably the first name that comes to most riders’ minds when they think of the crème de le crème of enduro talent. And it just got better…the legend has started a series of Jarvis Signature Tours, I’ve already been to the Spanish one but now it’s time for some Welsh fun with Jarvis Signature Tours Wales.
Set up by an absolute legend, if you want riding progression and an epic adventure this is the place to go.

The first thing to mention is that by going to Jarvis Signature it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to ride with the man himself, Graham – you can but the dates are limited and you of course pay more. I had an absolutely incredible time in Spain even without him BUT I’m excited to say Graham, the main man, was there for my Welsh trip! AND oh-my-goodness watching his precision and riding execution in person is even more epic than seeing it online. He’s like nothing I’ve seen before. As you he sits there, you can see his mind scanning the surroundings for things to play on, whether that’s rocks, banks, river beds or even full blown growing trees [see YouTube video below to see that…]. Graham has years of riding experience to teach, however he’s also still a full-time professional rider and so has equipped his school with some absolutely nails riders to stand in and deliver the ultimate hard enduro coaching.
The main guy to mention here is British Hard Enduro Rider Grant Churchward. He’s the man behind Jarvis Wales and boy does he know how to ride. Grant has been exploring the Welsh mountains for over 40 years so if he doesn’t know where’s best to ride, no one does. Add to the fact he is a seasoned expert with multiple wins and podiums throughout the enduro scene…you have a winning combination.
Top location and top riding.
Grant was the key energy behind my tuition and he really was spot on. He has a very patient tone and a real art in translating what you need to do into directions. He analysed my riding and then delivered focused and tailored tips to help me improve. My cornering stepped up dramatically as a result. You can tell he know what he’s doing when you see him ride too!
Mr Graham Jarvis was of course with us too, as we know he’s a shy one, but I was really warmed to to see his energy towards the tours. He was welcoming and engaging and bloody awesome and showing me how things should be done. Tips from the king of hard enduro, that’s a winner!
The tuition is perfectly suited for ANY riding experience, from total novice through to expert. These guys are the top spec in riding capabilities and so there is something to learn for everyone.
Given that Jarvis has a busy race calendar, if you can’t get a date to ride with him I would not threat….For the very, very large majority of riders you’re going to learn as much progression from Graham’s team as you will from him as he really has employed a fantastic caliber of guys so don’t threat if you can’t get a date with Jarvis.
Depending on your goals they’ll push you as little or as much as you like. Nail some new skills or simply enjoy some chilled riding, either way you’ll have one hell of a time.
They’ve cornered the market for guided tuition trail riding for sure and I think the tuition really is the reason to head to Jarvis. Yes, it’s an amazing experience riding in Wales, but the big push for me is the riding development. Many tour operators can give you the odd tip but being able to really push you, spot your bad habits and take you to the next level is rather unique for the Jarvis offering.
As a Jarvis venture they are of course kitted out with a fleet of Husqvarna TE 300i motorcycles, fully Jarvis style kitted. You can also ride with your own motorcycle if preferred.
I did not stay but the team can organised accommodation for you if needed. There are some great options in the area so just ask them. Wales is stunning!
You can see how hard they pushed me, within my limits but outside my comfort zone. It was incredible.
In terms of bikes Jarvis of course has his factory racing hat on, opting for a fleet of the latest Husqvarna enduro bikes from across the range of sizes. They’re made of hard enduro!
In terms of location they couldn’t be closer to the trails, out the driveway, up the hill and you’re off road. Straight out of the private compound and the trails start. They’ve got an ace setup with onside toilets, all important beer fridge and easy parking.
You’re off-road immediately from the house with a mix of large fire tracks, small single track, technical rocky streams, hill climbs and slipper forest. The views are just wow too, it’s incredible.
A huge attraction to me here is that Graham’s team know what it takes to push your riding to the next level. That means the guys know and are familiar with putting you into terrains that can at times be a big step up for you. But it’s ok, they are right there with you! They assess your capabilities and quickly know where they can safely push you. It’s not about reckless fun as at the end of the day no one wants to come home broken, and they certainly don’t want damaged bikes. But they do know how to safely push the limits and will talk you through exactly what needs to be done.
Fly into Bristol, which is 1 hour 20 minute drive to Surgery Road, Blaina, Abertillery in Wales. If you contact them, I’m sure they can collect your for the airport too. Another option is London airports [Heathrow, Luton, Stansted, Birmingham] but the drive to Javis Signature Tour Wales will be longer.

In a few days riding I learned more like a few months’ worth of progression. Graham Jarvis you’ve made something special here! Set in epic Welsh countryside. This is the place to train!
Ideal for UK based riders OR those international travellers wanting to see some epic UK countryside while also learning and enjoying the trails.
If you’re new to my page – it’s more than just dirt bike riding, Harleys and racing, I’m on a mission to prove that nothing is impossible if you want it bad enough. See more about my story plus read about my life changing accident, which started it all.
